The Atkinson's will be releasing a new CD this spring. We just sent off three studio cuts from this new release to the IBMA for showcase consideration in October. The three cuts were Liza singing a Gillian Welch song, One More Dollar; Shelene singing an Adirondack New York singer songwriter Roy Hurd song, Wild Mountain Flower; and Dick singing an original three quarter tempo song he wrote late last year, In the Twilight of Day. We are very pleased with the result on the first cuts of the songs. More about the new CD later...........

This year the band will consist of Dick on banjo, and Shelene and Liza Atkinson on guitar. Dick, Shelene and Liza will continue to sing harmony and lead vocals. Chad Darou will be on dobro, Jim Treat on bass and we are very pleased to have Nick Picciccini on mandolin (filling in for Adam during his time off), and occasionally Perry Cleveland and Tim Blair to fill in when needed.
