We have a great
review on the Angels
Rejoice in Bluegrass Unlimited! Please take time to read it.
Here is
a published
interview with us, the Atkinson Family by Anna Hartley of
Arkansas
!
Please
take time to take a look at it and comment!!
And
here’s another
link with a story about us at the Lake Champlain Bluegrass Festival
this past year written by Ted Lehmann. (Ted says "My pick for the
regional band with the most tuneful and interesting sets goes to The
Atkinson Family Band........while familiar to many in the region is
very solid and deserves a wider audience!)
I
will be asking you all to send emails to radio DJs to request our
music. The radio DJs I have spoken with say this is the way to get
your music played. I will provide a list with links, so all you
have to do is click and send an email. Please help us out with
this. More to come soon.

Read
what a few of the radio DJs are saying about the song Friday
and the new CD, Angels Rejoice on the MasterShield Label!
"I
have indeed received a copy of Angels Rejoice which I have been
thoroughly enjoying. Every few years a song comes along that just
sends you reeling because of its message, poignancy and delivery. “Friday” is such a song. It’s brilliantly written, the tune
matches perfectly and you all have arranged and sing the piece with a
knock-out punch. The tune is a masterpiece and is destined to
become a gospel classic."

"A creative composition that reflects the genius of this band. They have their own unique sound that sets them apart from other
bluegrass bands. Their creativity will have them in great demand. The instrumentation here is haunting and memorable."
Wayne Bledsoe, KMST
"
Syracuse
composer John Cadley has done it again. Atkinsons interpret it perfectly!"
