The Atkinson Family is going stronger than ever with more Atkinsons and more vocal power!!

The band is Dick Atkinson on banjo, along with Shelene and Liza Atkinson on guitar. The band core, Dick, Shelene and Liza will continue to sing harmony and lead vocals.

We are pleased to introduce Laura Atkinson on bass, along with lead and harmony vocals. She is a Crane School of Music graduate, majoring in voice. Laura's vocal power is sure to knock your socks off, and we are excited to be working up more three part female harmony with Laura on board. With three strong female vocalists, Liza, Laura and Shelene the Atkinsons are a band like no other in the north country.

Back with us, Dave Bevins, the 2003 National Dobro Champion from Chilson, NY, Dave is featured on the newest release, Twilight of Day, along with Angels Rejoice CD and the Live at the Bainbridge CD. Dave is an exceptional, tasteful and inventive player that fits very well with what the Atkinsons do.

We are also very pleased to have Nick Piccininni from Verona, NY with us again this year. Nick is playing mandolin and fiddle, but also is a great banjo and guitar player. Nick is a well known musician from the central New York area and is a well respected musician among his peers. Nick also fits well with the family band.

We are very pleased and proud to have Dave and Nick as part of our family. They help to make us what and who we are!
